1. Choosing the right brush:
Toothbrush come in many types: hard, medium, soft, extra soft bristles. People generally feel harder the brush better the cleaning. It’s actually reverse, the bristles should be soft so that they can slide underneath your gums between teeth for cleaning. Hard bristles can abrade the tooth surface causing nerve exposure & sensitivity
2. Brushing too hard.
Many people brush so hard that their brushing can be heard outside their bathrooms. Brushing should be done gently in soft massaging motion to prevent injury to gums and teeth.
3. Saving time by brushing quick
Brushing fast can save a lot of time but it'll not save your teeth. Brushing should be done at least for two minutes twice a day. Do not rush while. Rushing as it can injure the sensitive areas of mouth.
4. Using brush till its last bristle!!
Brush should be changed every 3 months or after any recent infection. Do not overuse your brush and it should be changed as soon as it frays.
5. You go back and forth.

6. You forget the tongue and gums.
Tongue and other soft areas can harbor several bacteria’s causing bad breath. Do remember to clean them. The gums should never bleed while brushing. visit your dentist if you observe bleeding gums during brushing.
